March 9, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., the San Jacinto riverside county sheriff logoStation’s Special Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team and Southwest Corridor Task Force, served narcotics-related search warrants in the 100 block of N. Dillon Avenue in the city of San Jacinto, 42000 block of Thornton Avenue in Hemet and 1000 block of W. 1st Street in the city of Pomona. Deputies arrested Alirio David Vivas-Garcia, a 38-year-old resident of Hemet, Domingo Guarchaj, a 28-year-old resident of Los Angeles, Manuel Tabriz, a 33-year-old resident of Los Angeles and Francisco Guachea-Tabriz, a 28-year-old resident of Los Angeles without incident. During a search of the properties in San Jacinto and Hemet, illegal indoor marijuana grows were located inside both locations. The following items were located at all three locations:

1,436 marijuana plants

54 pounds of processed marijuana

2 unregistered firearms

Over $11,000.00 in cash

Additionally, items indicative of illicit narcotic sales were located. Vivas-Garcia, Guarchai, Tabriz and Guachea-Tabriz were later transported and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for various narcotic related offenses. This is an on-going investigation.
