May 9, 2024 - Riverside County Sheriff's Office reports on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2:56 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a theft at a retail store located in rcsd509.2the 18000 block of Collier Avenue, Lake Elsinore.

The suspects entered the store carrying large bags and began stealing high-end merchandise. The suspects fled the location in a red Hyundai Elantra. Deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station located the vehicle traveling northbound on the 15 Freeway. Deputies conducted a vehicle stop, and three subjects were detained.

The driver was identified as 34-year-old Delvin Bell and two 16-year-old passengers, all residing in Los Angeles. Bell was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for grand theft, organized retail theft, and felony child endangerment. The two juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall for grand theft and organized retail theft. Over $7,700 worth of merchandise was recovered from the suspect’s vehicle. It was discovered that the stolen items recovered were from the Lake Elsinore theft and a theft that had occurred in Eastvale earlier that day.
