Kidnapping Suspect Arrested
June 7, 2024 - Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 3:00 a.m., Perris Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the
26000 Block of Placentia Avenue, Perris, for an unknown trouble. Upon deputies' arrival, they located a victim who had been robbed, assaulted, and kidnapped. The victim was able to escape their alleged captor and, with the help of a citizen, call 911. The suspect had already fled the scene.
The Perris Station Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Jaden Ross, a 23-year-old resident of Riverside. On June 5, 2024, investigators, and the Perris Station Special Enforcement Teams (SET) located Ross in Riverside and arrested him.
Jaden Ross was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for aggravated kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon causing injury.
