Shooting Investigation - Request for Public Assistance 

June 8, 2024 – Ventura County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 7, 2024, at approximately 12:40 A.M., Ventura County Sheriff logoFillmore Patrol deputies responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Foothill Drive in the city of Fillmore.  Our Sheriff’s Communication Center received several calls reporting a large fight, hearing gunshots, and a traffic accident in the area. Upon arrival, deputies determined a hit and run collision occurred and located evidence of a shooting.  Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office West County Special Enforcement Unit and Major Crimes Bureau responded to assist with the investigation.
