Suspect Arrested for Sexual Assault of Juvenile 

September 3, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Sunday, August 12, 2024, at 11:55 p.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a juvenile sexual assault victim being treated at a local hospital. The victim reported she was sexually assaulted within the 40000 block of Winchester Road, Temecula. It was discovered suspect initially contacted the victim through an online platform and later formed a relationship for sexual purposes. Investigators continued the investigation and worked to identify the suspect. The suspect was identified as Andrey Raymundo Tovar Serrato, a 31-year-old resident of La Puente. On August 27, 2024, Investigators arrested the suspect in La Puente. The suspect was booked into custody at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for multiple sexual crimes and furnishing cannabis to a minor.
