Hit-And-Run in San Marcos 

September 19, 2024 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the San Marcos Sheriff's Station is investigating a hit-san diego county sheriff department logoand-run collision that seriously injured a teenager riding an e-bike.

It happened on Tuesday, September 17, around 9:00 p.m., near the intersection of W. Mission Road and Knoll Road.

A preliminary investigation by deputies found a pickup truck struck a teenager on an e-bike. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

The pickup truck fled the scene of the collision. It is described as a lifted 2019-2021 white GMC Sierra truck with front end damage, including a broken headlamp, fender and antenna.
