Burglary Suspect Arrested 

November 22, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that occurred at a business located in the 500 block of Indian Hills Circle in Perris, where an unknown subject broke into and stole several items from the location. The Perris Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) obtained the video surveillance and identified the suspect as 36-year-old Lavelle Davis of Perris. RBST obtained a warrant for Davis, but efforts to locate Davis were unsuccessful.

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 6:56 a.m., Perris patrol received a burglary-in-progress call at a business in the 33000 block of East State Hwy 74, in Green Acres, where the business owner had a male, later identified as Lavelle Davis, detained after he broke into the business. Deputies arrived and detained Davis at the scene. Davis was later booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for multiple burglary counts and probation violations. The investigation is ongoing.
