December 11, 2024 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that the Homicide Bureau is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 40-year-old Irene Gonzalez. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of those involved in her murder.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at around 5:43 A.M., Century Station deputies responded to a gunshot victim call on the 12500 block of Oak Street in Lynwood, CA. Upon arrival, they found Irene on the sidewalk with a fatal gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Irene was seen getting out of a 2014 to 2018 Toyota Corolla, before being shot by the driver. The vehicle is a 4-door black Toyota Corolla with a sunroof.
