December 15, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 12:00
P.M., the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force – Region 2 conducted a parole and probation compliance operation consisting of compliance checks at various locations within the Calimesa, Beaumont, Banning and Cabazon areas. The operation was a collaborative effort involving multiple agencies including: the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7, Cabazon Sheriff’s Station, Banning Police Department, Beaumont Police Department, Central PACT, Riverside County Probation and California Highway Patrol.
The following subjects were arrested during the operation:
- Hutchens, Raymond, 30, of Banning for drug paraphernalia, obstructing a law enforcement officer and a PRCS violation.
- Lavoie, Gregoire, 39, of Beaumont for possession of a prohibited weapon and a parole violation.
- Ortiz, Javier, 39, of Cabazon for possession of a prohibited weapon and a PRCS violation.
- Whitis, Joshua, 31, of Beaumont for several outstanding warrants and being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.
- Evans, Jeremy, 39, of Banning for a probation violation.
- Weir, Krista, 36, of Beaumont for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
- Rushey, Kyle, 35, of Beaumont for possession of a controlled substance, paraphernalia, and a probation violation.
- Sotello, Daniel, 33, of Yucaipa for a PRCS violation.
- Moreno Magallon, Jesus, 38, of Banning for a misdemeanor warrant for DUI.
- Maynard, Christopher, 31, of Banning for a misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence.
- Moore, Thomas, 35, of Banning for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
- Leimas, Stacey, 48, of Banning for a misdemeanor warrant for providing false identification to a peace officer.
- Hammack, Isaac, 41, of Beaumont for 2 Misdemeanor warrants for weapon possession, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force is one of six teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the Banning Police Department, Beaumont Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
