The Riverside County Sheriff's Office encourages all residents to take proactive measures to safeguard their property by establishing a nightly routine to secure vehicles and residences. Each evening, make it a habit to lock your car doors, roll up windows, and remove valuables from plain view. Additionally, ensure your home is properly secured by locking all doors and windows and activating any security systems or exterior lighting. A consistent routine can significantly reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim of theft or burglary. By taking these simple precautions, you help create a safer community for everyone.
