December 30, 2024 -  Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the officer involved shooting in the City of Bell.  The incident occurred on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at approximately 10:22 p.m.
 
The suspect was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was later released and booked by the Bell Police Department for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.

The suspect's firearms were recovered at the scene of the incident.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there’s no additional information available at this time.
