Suspects Responsible for November 2024 Death of Riverside Man Apprehended and Booked on Murder Charges 

January 4, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on November 17, 2024, at San Bernardino County Sheriff logoapproximately 8:21 a.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a man down in the 12800 block of Holly Street. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Rene Isordia deceased and suffering from multiple injuries. 

UPDATE: Through continued investigation, investigators determined a 16-year-old male of Fontana and Adam Gutierrez of Redlands to be responsible for the murder of Rene Isordia on November 17, 2024.

On December 5, 2024, with the assistance of San Bernardino County Probation, investigators apprehended Gutierrez. He was booked into custody for violation of probation and subsequently supplementally booked for PC 187-Murder. On January 2, 2025, with assistance from Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division, the 16-year-old male suspect was apprehended. He was booked into San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center for PC 187-Murder.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded and assumed the investigation. The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released when available.
