Fatal Traffic Collision 

February 10, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at about 8:39 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Riverview Drive and Rios Road, Jurupa Valley, regarding a single-vehicle traffic collision. When deputies arrived, they discovered the vehicle had struck a tree. They located the driver, who did not survive the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it is unknown if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision. The identity of the driver will not be released at this time, pending notification to the next of kin.

The collision investigation required the temporary closure of Riverview Drive between Rios Road and Peralta Avenue to process the scene and collect evidence.
