Update Per Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department: Suspect in custody and vehicle has been located.

February 28, 2025 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that on February 26, 2025, the pictured suspect fired several rounds from a semi-automatic handgun at the victim while he was flying his drone at a turnout in the San Gabriel Mountains. The suspect’s vehicle was last seen southbound on Highway 39 and out of view. The suspect’s vehicle 2002-2006 light blue or light green Toyota Camry, with paint oxidation on the roof, DMV paper on rear window, and black rims. 

Suspect: Male, 20-25 years old, light complexion, beard/goatee, wearing a checkered flannel shirt with a black hood, light grey pants, red and white high top tennis shoes. 

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
