March 4, 2025 – San Diego Police Department officials report that training and experience, coupled with exceptional beat knowledge, led Western Division’s Crime Suppression team to another successful arrest and seizure of dangerous drugs and weapons.

Recently, Officers working in Western Division were on patrol when they located a vehicle known to be owned by a male with multiple felonies.

As they continued their patrol, they located the vehicle's owner and saw him enter it, preparing to depart. Upon contacting him, they saw drug paraphernalia sitting out in the open in plain view and detained him to investigate further.

In the car, they found multiple packages containing illegal drugs, a large sum of cash, and a replica firearm.

Detectives with the San Diego Police Department’s narcotics team assisted in follow-up and were able to successfully book the suspect on multiple felony charges, including the outstanding warrants.
