March 7, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, deputies San Bernardino County Sheriff logoin the Morongo Basin responded to a call of suspicious circumstances at a home in the 6600 block of La Habra Avenue.  The reporting party arrived at the location and smelled a foul odor coming from the house.  Deputies arrived and located two deceased people inside the home.  

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation.  Detectives believe the incident was a murder/suicide.  The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy is scheduled for both decedents to determine a cause of death.
