Death Investigation in San Marcos 

April 7, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that on April 5, 2025, at approximately 3:05 p.m., Sheriff's deputies from the San Marcos Patrol Station responded to a call of a person who was found deceased inside an apartment located in the 1000 block of Armorlite Dr., in San Marcos.  Upon arrival, deputies located the deceased person inside with no obvious signs of trauma.  Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office. The investigation is ongoing.
