Offerup Robbery 

May 12, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that recently, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in the area of Sepulveda and Highland Avenues. In this case, the suspect responded to a cell phone listing on OfferUp, expressing intent to purchase a cell phone. After arriving to meet, the suspect threatened the victim with a handgun, stole the cell phone, and fled the scene. Detectives conducted further investigation where they developed information regarding the suspect. He was located and arrested. A search warrant was served and officers located several firearms and other corroborating pieces of evidence.
