Shooting in Unincorporated El Cajon 

May 25, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that on May 21, 2025, just after 6:20 p.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 300 block of East Bradley Avenue in El Cajon. The reporting party heard an argument followed by gunfire.

Deputies arrived and located a 54-year-old male subject bleeding from a gunshot wound. The subject was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The weapon was recovered and there is no further danger to the public.

There is no additional information at this time and the investigation remains on-going.
