6/4/25 Update Per Yuba City Police Department: Thank you to the community, Ms. Sweeting has been found and is safe.

Missing Person Alert 

May 28, 2025 – Yuba City Police Department officials report that they are asking for the public’s help in locating 27-YPD missing Sweetingyear-old Sierra Sweeting. Sweeting was last seen on the morning of May 19, 2025, near Plumas Court and Live Oak Boulevard in Yuba City.

Investigators believe Sweeting may be traveling to Mission Street in San Francisco by unknown means of transportation. She was last seen wearing leggings, a black beanie, and a black jacket.

At this time, Sweeting is considered At-Risk due to medical concerns. Sweeting is described as a Black female adult, with dyed blonde hair, standing at 5'6" and weighing 160 lbs.
