Fatal Traffic Collision 

May 30, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 29, 2025, at 3:32 a.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision in the area of Main Street and the 15 Freeway, Lake Elsinore. Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle and the driver, who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Lake Elsinore Station's Traffic Team responded and assumed the investigation. The driver was identified as Andres Virgen, a 42-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs are a factor in the collision. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available.
