Organized Retail Theft Operation
June 1, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 30, 2025, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley
Sheriff’s Station and Eastvale Special Enforcement Team, in collaboration with Loss Prevention personnel, conducted a retail theft operation in the 12500 block of Limonite Avenue, in the city of Eastvale. The operation was designed to proactively address retail theft and ensure the safety and well-being of both businesses and shoppers in the area. Throughout the operation, several individuals were observed stealing merchandise. Each suspect was apprehended and arrested without incident.
The following is a list of persons arrested during the operation:
- Jennifer Azarcon, 32-year-old resident of Ontario, arrested for grand theft.
- Cory Auzminski, 29-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, arrested for petty theft with priors, violation of probation, and shoplifting.
- Andrea May, 27-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, arrested for petty theft with priors, violation of probation, and shoplifting.
- Cuauhtemoc Chavarria, 46-year-old resident of Ontario, arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy.
- Josue Fernando Pitones Gasca, 42-year-old resident of Ontario, arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy.
- Mark Osorio, 30-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, arrested for violation of probation, drug charges and shoplifting.
- Justin Torres, 27-year-old resident of Riverside, arrested for shoplifting.
- Renso Bisso, 49-year-old resident of Ontario, arrested for shoplifting.
- Teressa Chu, 71-year-old resident of Ontario, arrested for shoplifting.
- Nogivenname Shakti, 27-year-old resident of Rancho Cucamonga, arrested for trespassing.
- Raymond Hernandez, 30-year-old resident of Fontana, arrested for shoplifting.
- Alex Hernandez, 19-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, arrested for shoplifting.
This effort highlights the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the city of Eastvale’s continued commitment to addressing theft-related crimes that negatively impact our local businesses and community.
Retail theft operations like this are also supported by legislative efforts such as Proposition 36. It’s important to note that individuals who commit retail theft are subject to arrest and prosecution. Operations like this one are critical in addressing repeat offenders and deterring organized retail crime, while also working with the framework of existing laws to promote both accountability and rehabilitation where appropriate.
