June 8, 2025 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that an armed suspect tied to organized retail theft is off the streets!
Following a joint investigation with the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, deputies and detectives arrested Quan Tran, 51, of Pittsburg on Wednesday, June 4th on an outstanding warrant. A search of his vehicle uncovered:
A loaded gun
A second loaded magazine
Drugs
He was out on bail for retail theft in the County of Santa Clara, and is now facing new felony charges, including carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a controlled substance while armed.
