Assault with a Deadly Weapon in Fallbrook 

July 20, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that a Fallbrook man has been arrested and is facing serious charges, including assault with a deadly weapon. 

Over the past several months, Devin Frankel (39) has been involved in multiple incidents involving delivery drivers at his home. He had pointed what was believed to be a firearm at one driver, threatened to shoot another and choked a third driver.

On Thursday, July 17, just after 5:00 a.m., detectives from the Fallbrook Sheriff's Substation, along with other Sheriff's investigators, served a search warrant at Frankel's home in the 2300 block of Green Valley Road.

The warrant was served without incident. During the search, a total of four firearms were recovered from the home, including two .38 caliber revolvers, one shotgun and one assault rifle.

Frankel was subsequently arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm and making criminal threats.
