July 26, 2025 – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Burglary crew arrest led by LAPD Metropolitan Division, in collaboration with West Valley Detectives, Southeast Division, and Air Support Division.

On July 12, 2025, LAPD officers made a significant arrest involving a burglary crew that’s been under investigation since May. Known to detectives as the “Tucson Crew,” this group is believed to be responsible for a series of organized burglaries throughout the city.

During a coordinated operation, officers observed the suspects commit an attempted residential burglary in West Valley Division. A follow-up response was initiated when the suspects returned to a known hang out location in South Los Angeles.

As officers moved in to make the arrest, the suspects ran. Three were taken into custody right away, and the fourth was found shortly after with the help of a K-9 unit and a perimeter set up by responding officers.

All four were booked for residential burglary. Each has an extensive criminal history that includes prior arrests and convictions for burglary, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and firearm offenses.
