Homicide 

August 3, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 3:45 a.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a residence in the 49000 block of Corte Molino, in Coachella, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, deputies discovered three adolescent males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, and despite lifesaving measures, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The other two victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment in critical condition.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is active and ongoing.
