POP Team Keeps the Pressure On, Seizing More Guns and Drugs 

August 30, 2025 – YUBA COUNTY, CA – Yuba County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 27, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team, working in partnership with federal authorities, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 1400 block of English Way in Olivehurst.

During the search, deputies recovered seven assault rifles, eight handguns, approximately two pounds of opium, and $39,700 in U.S. currency. The operation resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Kuldeep Singh of Olivehurst, who was booked on firearms and narcotics-related charges.

This successful operation underscores the Sheriff’s Office’s continued commitment to removing illegal firearms and dangerous drugs from the streets of Yuba County.
