Arrest of Organized Retail Theft Crew
September 2, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on July 11, 2025, at 11:10 a.m., Perris Sheriff’s Station
deputies responded to a business located in the 2500 block of N. Perris Boulevard in the city of Perris regarding a grand theft. The Perris Sheriff’s Station Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the theft investigation. During the investigation, it was learned that the suspects had committed another grand theft the previous day at another business in the city of Corona. RBST identified the suspects and the suspect vehicle involved in the thefts.
On August 27, 2025, RBST with the assistance of the Perris Special Enforcement Teams, Perris Station Investigations Bureau, Homeless Outreach Team, Gang Task Force - Regions 6 & 7, San Bernardino Police Department, and Rialto Police Department served search warrants on the 17000 block of San Bernardino Avenue, Fontana, the 200 block of N. Glenwood Avenue, Rialto, the 400 block of E. Easton Street, Rialto, and the 4000 N. Sierra Avenue, San Bernardino.
Evidence of the thefts, along with an unregistered firearm, brass knuckles, and illegal fireworks, was recovered.
The following individuals were arrested during the service of the search warrants:
- Akon Perry, 20-year-old resident of Fontana, for organized retail theft and grand theft
- Deion Love, 18-year-old resident of Rialto, for organized retail theft and grand theft
- 16-year-old resident of Rialto, for organized retail theft and grand theft
- Donald Brown, 34-year-old resident of Rialto, for possession of brass knuckles and possession of illegal fireworks
- Robert Love, 45-year-old resident of Rialto, for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition
