Domestic Violence Arrest in Imperial Beach 

October 2, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing his wife during an argument and assaulting his child in Imperial Beach.

It happened on Tuesday, September 30, at about 10:00 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of 5th Street. Deputies with the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation responded after a 16-year-old juvenile called 9-1-1 to report their father had stabbed their mother.

During the initial investigation, it was determined Enos Perez (49) and his wife were involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the wife suffered a laceration to her head. Perez also assaulted one of his children before fleeing the scene.

Perez was located in National City a short time later, where he was arrested without incident with the assistance of the National City Police Department.

The 36-year-old-woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile was treated and released at the scene. Perez was also treated at a hospital for minor injuries that occurred during the original altercation.

Perez was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and child abuse.
