Suspect Arrested for Robbery and Assault
October 3, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 12:02 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an assault in the 800 block of West Chanslor Way, Blythe. Upon arrival, deputies searched the area but were unable to locate any victims or evidence of a crime.
Through further investigation, the School Resource deputy identified two male juvenile victims. One was the victim of an assault who sustained injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The other was the victim of a robbery stemming from the same incident. The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Jaymien Solorio, a resident of Blythe, who was currently out on bail on an unrelated incident.
On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:28 a.m., Colorado River Station deputies located Solorio in the 200 block of North Lovekin Boulevard, where he was detained without incident. During a search of his person, deputies located evidence of the robbery.
Solorio was booked into the Blythe Jail on charges of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, possession of stolen property, and committing a felony while out on bail.
