Fatal Traffic Collision 

October 10, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on October 8, 2025, at 6:52 a.m., deputies assigned to the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a single rider motorcyclist in the area of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Street, Cherry Valley. Deputies arrived at the scene and learned that the rider had succumbed to their injuries as a result of the collision.

The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station’s Traffic Team responded and assumed the investigation. As a result of this collision investigation, westbound traffic on Cherry Valley Boulevard at Calimesa Boulevard was closed. The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available at this time.
