Man Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit 

November 6, 2025 – Sacramento County Sheriff's Office officials report that at around 2:00 A.M. this on Wednesday morning, North Patrol Deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding and multiple traffic violations near Watt Avenue and Don Julio Boulevard.

Instead of stopping, the driver, 57-year-old Kenneth Earl Steinberger, took off and led Deputies on a high-speed pursuit that reached speeds of over 100 mph on the freeway.

Deputies successfully deployed a tire deflation device (tack strip), bringing the chase to an end. Steinberger was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
