Suspect Arrested for Sex with Minors
November 15, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 23, 2025, at 4:04 p.m., deputies from the
Thermal Sheriff’s Station were contacted regarding a report of a sexual assault on a juvenile female. Thermal Sheriff’s Station investigators were notified and assumed the investigation. During the course of the investigation, it was learned the suspect had contacted multiple underage females and was offering illegal substances in exchange for sex. Investigators were able to identify multiple underage female victims throughout Riverside County. The suspect was identified as Jesse James Garcia-Airada, a 28-year-old resident of Palm Springs.
On November 13, 2025, at 8:50 a.m., with the assistance of the Palm Springs Police Department, Garcia-Airada was located in the area of South Palm Canyon and Linden Way, Palm Springs, where he was taken into custody without incident. Thermal Sheriff’s Station investigators subsequently served a search warrant at Garcia-Airada’s residence, located in the 2800 block of Lawrence Crossley Road, Palm Springs. Garcia-Airada was transported and booked into the John Benoit Detention Center without bail for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, along with additional child sexual assault related offenses.
