Overnight Arrest = One Very Bad Combo 

December 18, 2025 – Yuba County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Sunday night, one of their Yuba County Sheriff’s Deputies made a traffic stop that quickly turned into a lesson in what not to have together at the same time… 

• Methamphetamine
• Items consistent with drug sales
• A small-caliber handgun
• And… a Yuba County Deputy

When all of those come together, the outcome is pretty predictable: handcuffs and a ride to jail.

Great work by our overnight patrol deputies for keeping our community safe while the rest of us slept.
