January 3, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Missing Persons Detail, is asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person, Yvonne Bernadette Barela. Ms. Barela was last seen on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 4:30 a.m. on the 5000 block of Knoxville Avenue, in the city of Lakewood. 

Ms. Barela is described as a 74-year-old White female adult, 5’04”, 200 lbs., with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a jade ring. She has a possible destination of the 9000 block of Bloomfield Avenue, in the city of Cypress.

Ms. Barela’s family is concerned for her well-being as she requires medication.
