January 5, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they need help finding a missing 12-year-old from Spring Valley.

Benji Vertongen was last seen leaving his home in the 4600 block of Resmar Road. Benji was last seen wearing a light blue UCLA shirt and carrying a skateboard.
