Negligent Discharge of a Firearm 

February 16, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 12:37 a.m., deputies riverside county sheriff logofrom the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to the 300 block of East Shaver Street, San Jacinto, regarding reports of gunshots heard in the area. Upon arrival, deputies determined the shots originated from a residence within the block.

Deputies identified the suspect as Brandon Fiore, a 38-year-old resident of San Jacinto. Despite multiple commands from deputies, Fiore refused to exit his residence. A search warrant for the residence was authored, and the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) was requested for assistance. Fiore was ultimately taken into custody without incident.

During the search warrant service, deputies located multiple firearms and numerous rounds of ammunition, as well as evidence of a shooting in the backyard of the residence. Fiore was booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility for negligent discharge of a firearm, terrorist threats, and obstructing a peace officer.
