Attempted Murder 

February 20, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Monday, February 2, 2026, about 6:15 a.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 13000 block of 65th Street in the city of Eastvale, regarding the report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, deputies located the male victim, who had been assaulted and sustained major injuries. The male was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he remains hospitalized. Deputies conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Investigators from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Jaiden Brown, a 21-year-old resident of Victorville.

On February 18, 2026, Brown was located in the 13000 block of Goldfinch Court in Victorville and arrested without incident. Brown was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
