Suspects Arrested Following Reported Robbery in Live Oak 

April 8, 2026 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that over the weekend, deputies with the Sutter County Sutter SO Live OakSheriff's Office responded to the 9700 block of Richard Avenue in Live Oak after a report of a robbery.

The reporting party told deputies that two individuals demanded money while one suspect displayed a handgun. The victim reported that cash and a cellphone were taken during the incident. The suspects were believed to have left the area.

Sutter County deputies conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area in Live Oak and Yuba City, but the vehicle was not immediately located. A Be on the Lookout (BOLO) was issued for the suspects and their vehicle.

Shortly afterward, the vehicle associated with the suspects was located traveling westbound Highway 20. Deputies responded toward Colusa County and coordinated with officers from the California Highway Patrol and deputies from the Colusa County Sheriff's Office.

While responding toward the Sycamore Road and Bister Road area and checking locations, a California Highway Patrol officer located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and detained both suspects without incident.

Both suspects were taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol and booked into the Colusa County Jail. 36-year-old Olivia Herrera of Live Oak was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime and making criminal threats. 41-year-old Paul Noonen of Live Oak was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime, making criminal threats, robbery and elder abuse.
