June 2, 2026 – North Hollywood, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the LAPD logoRobbery-Homicide Division, Valley Bureau Section, is currently investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a male victim.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, around 11:19 a.m., North Hollywood area patrol officers, responded to a radio call of a “Shooting just occurred man down” in the 10800 block of Ventura Boulevard. Upon their arrival, the officers located a male victim on the ground with a gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered medical aid. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at scene.

The victim is described as a White male, 40-years-old. The victim’s identification is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The shooting investigation is ongoing. Detectives from Robbery Homicide Division Valley Bureau Section are actively canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance video and witnesses.
