August 8, 2026 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on June 11, 2026, Detective Holguin from the Specialized Investigations Division – Crimes Against Children Detail received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning the upload of child sexual abuse material.

During the investigation, Detective Holguin identified Dowland Ernest Christian Lee as the suspect. Investigators served a warrant on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to search Lee’s electronic devices, at which point they found multiple explicit images of child sexual abuse material.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Lee was arrested and booked at Morongo Basin Jail in violation of PC 311.11(a) - Possession of Child Pornography, in lieu of $30,000 bail.
