Lewd Acts on a Dependent Adult 

August 16, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that in June 2025, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a private care facility in the 6000 block of La Mesa Street, Eastvale, regarding a report of inappropriate behavior involving an employee and a patient. At the time, insufficient suspect information was obtained, and no arrests were made.

In March 2026, Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Investigations Bureau requested assistance from the Riverside Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau – Special Victims Unit (SVU), which assumed the case. SVU investigators continued the investigation and identified a second victim. Investigators identified the suspect as June Richard Lee, a 62-year-old resident of Hemet. It was learned that Lee was also using the name Richard Bautista.

On August 14, 2026, SVU investigators, with the assistance of deputies from the Hemet Sheriff’s Station, located Lee in the 42000 block of Margoni Way, Hemet, where he was taken into custody without incident. Lee was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for lewd acts on a dependent adult, sexual battery, and forced oral copulation. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
