Silver Alert Issued for Missing 81-Year-Old Man 

August 29, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of Luis Nabar Castro, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

On August 27, 2026, around 8:30 p.m., 81-year-old Luis Nabar Castro was last seen in the 7600 block of Wyngate Street in Tujunga. Mr. Castro suffers from Dementia and needs his medication.

Mr. Castro is described as a Hispanic male with thinning grey hair, grey beard, blue eyes, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white dress shirt, black pants and white slippers.
