Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision - Lemon Grove 

September 15, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Sheriff's Traffic Investigators want the public's help in finding the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run collision in Lemon Grove. 

On Sunday, September 13, just before 1:30 a.m., deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Substation received a call about a hit-and-run incident at the intersection of Viewcrest Drive and Imperial Avenue.

When they arrived, deputies found a man lying on the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of his family.

At this time, there is no suspect or suspect vehicle description.

The investigation into the hit-and-run collision continues.
