October 18, 2026 – Sacramento County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Gang Suppression Unit (GSU) detectives were conducting proactive enforcement near Power Inn Road and 48th Avenue when they observed a sedan committing multiple vehicle code violations.

Detectives conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver and sole occupant, identified as local “rapper” 20-year-old Malikhi Richard.

During the investigation, detectives developed probable cause to search the vehicle. Inside a duffel bag on the rear passenger seat, detectives located two loaded firearms: a Micro Draco AK-47-style pistol equipped with a loaded 60-round magazine and a short-barreled AR-style pistol equipped with a loaded 30-round magazine.

Richard was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on firearm-related charges.
