CAL FIRE San Benito-Monterey Unit mourns the loss of one of our own.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Firefighter II (Paramedic) David Cosley.

The loss of a member of the fire service is felt deeply by the entire fire family. During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts are with David’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.

We ask our community to keep David’s loved ones and his brothers and sisters in the fire service in your thoughts as they navigate this tremendous loss. May they find comfort in the memories they shared and strength in the support of those around them.

David will be remembered as one of our own, and he will not be forgotten.
