September 10, 2021 - On September 9th, 2021, CAL FIRE Law Enforcement Officers made two separate fire related arrests in Amador County.
CAL FIRE Law Enforcement Officers in cooperation with the Amador County Sheriff’s Office arrested an adult male for recklessly starting a fire in the area of Highway 88 and Dalton Road.
The same evening, CAL FIRE Law Enforcement Officers in cooperation with the Amador Fire Protection District arrested an adult female on suspicion of a series of arson fires in the community of Plymouth.
Both suspects were booked in the Amador County Jail.
These fire related arrests are separate and not connected to the Caldor Fire.
From January 1, 2021, through August 31, 2021, CAL FIRE Law Enforcement Officers made 103 arson arrests.
