April 6, 2018 - I write to urge every voting citizen of Mariposa District III to cast their vote for Heather Bernikoff.

Much has already been said and verified as to Heather's qualifications for the position, to which I would like to add a more personal note.

What I especially like about Heather Bernikoff is warmth of her personality. There is nothing of artificiality in her demeanor convincing me that she has a genuine desire to serve both District III and the County as a whole. This characteristic is especially important in the fact that a small rural county such as Mariposa is faced today with the enormous task of engaging in the ever-changing atmosphere of the 21st Century in which we find ourselves.

Not only that, but may I suggest that we consider the matter of gender equality. Please may I remind our readers that half the world's population is female, the other half obviously male. The same goes for the USA, the State of California, and finally our own county of Mariposa. In this we are fortunate indeed to be able to offer a well-qualified person of the female persuasion to finally add to the balance of the present Board of Supervisors joining the very able Supervisor of District I.

Please Vote for Heather Bernikoff, Supervisor District III.
