August 27, 2020 - Right here in Mariposa exists a wonderfully bright spot for all those participating in support of our Arts Council: Each and every week we receive a message to light up our day. The Mariposa Symphony Orchestra, led by none other than our very own Les Marsden and his group of dedicated musicians. Fourth of July? Christmas? Labor Day Homecoming? Thanksgiving? And a myriad of other special events too numerous to list here.

Down in the dumps from that dastardly Corona Virus? Sick and tired of staying home unable to socialize? Turn on your PC or other gadget you use, and tune in to Les and his worthy group. I have saved every single one of their broadcasts. May they flourish and bring music into our miserable lives.
