September 4, 2024 – We are voting for Toni Southwood to represent District Five on Mariposa’s School Board. Of all the people we have met in Mariposa, over the past twenty-five years, Toni is the one we would call, “Mrs. Mariposa.” Toni has a heart for people and community. You may have seen her on Mariposa’s soccer fields, over the past 20 years, coaching or cheering kids on. As a grandmother Toni is investing her life in our future; this next generation.

Toni loves Mariposa.  She advocates for kids; from kids with special needs to kids slipping through the cracks, and cheering on kids making right choices. We stood in the rain, under an umbrella, with Toni when she was advocating for wholistic health policies for Mariposa’s school children. Toni is consistent and reliable. It is who she is. Toni will be a bridge between students, staff and Sacramento. In District Five we are paying property taxes that go into our Mariposa District and County Schools making it imperative to elect Toni Southwood to represent us on Mariposa’s School Board.
